This project exclusively contains works for baritone saxophone (solo, with electronics and other sorts of format) written starting from 2000.

The repertoire doesn’t have fixed works. So, I can adapt this project to the particularities of each Festival, proposing:

  • different programmes: “modern” (to all audiences), “experimental” (to audiences used in contemporary music), etc.
  • different formations: solo, duo with electronics, duo with piano, etc.

Don’t hesitate to ask me for!

The virtuoso saxophone of Joan Martí-Frasquier invite us to go through an infinite universe of sounds in his project 21st CENTURY MUSIC FOR BARITONE SAXOPHONE which contains different sorts of works, which some of them fully exploit the technique of the instrument. He delights the audience piece after piece playing the nowadays’ music with a detailed and powerful performance.

To renew or …. to renew! The traditional concert is getting old and needs regeneration. Joan has been able to open a path that many others will have to continue to bring music to the audience. We can enjoy the new language of music with its fusion with other artistic disciplines, letting fill our senses and don’t being indifferent. We need fresh air !!!

This is a course resolutely modern: a wise association of media (audios and other visual elements) completely assembled to a great control of the baritone saxophone. A sensitive high performance.
